Il viaggio di Rob nel mondo della fotografia è iniziato all’età di otto anni e da allora ha desiderato diventare un fotografo professionista. Con quattro decenni di esperienza al suo attivo, Rob ha creato un gran numero di immagini affascinanti, che spaziano dalla moda, alla fotografia industriale, alla fotografia di ritratto e ai progetti artistici. La sua transizione dall’analogico al digitale, e ora all’intelligenza artificiale, dimostra la sua incrollabile dedizione alla sua arte, dando continuamente vita alle immagini.
Nel corso degli anni ha vinto numerosi premi e condiviso le sue conoscenze attraverso conferenze, pur rimanendo fedele alla sua passione principale: creare storie visive.
Dopo aver conseguito i diplomi professionali (che all’epoca erano ancora richiesti dalla legge!!), Rob fondò il suo primo studio fotografico a Huissen, nei Paesi Bassi, nel luglio 1983. Dieci anni e mezzo dopo, con una vasta clientela ed esperienza, lui e il suo team si trasferirono in un grande studio fotografico all’avanguardia a Westervoort. Lì lui e il suo team hanno servito con successo clienti nazionali e internazionali per più di dieci anni.
Dopo una breve avventura fotografica a Marsiglia, in Francia, Rob ha costruito un nuovo studio ad Arnhem, nei Paesi Bassi. Nel suo studio ha reinventato se stesso e ha offerto la sua esperienza creativa ad agenzie pubblicitarie, aziende e industrie di moda. Trascorsero dieci anni fruttuosi e fu durante questo periodo che incontrò Sigrid. Viveva in Belgio e desiderava una vita in Italia. Rob, ancora una volta pronto a intraprendere un’avventura fotografica e amorosa, ha costruito un nuovo studio fotografico a Caprino Veronese. Con 200 metri quadrati e un’altezza di 5 metri nella bellissima Italia vicino al Lago di Garda, è un luogo di lavoro bellissimo e stimolante dove creerà molte bellissime immagini.

Rob’s reis door de wereld van de fotografie begon op achtjarige leeftijd en sindsdien wilde hij een professionele fotograaf worden. Met vier decennia ervaring op zak heeft Rob een groot aantal boeiende beelden gecreëerd, variërend van mode, industriële fotografie, portretfotografie en artistieke projecten. Zijn transitie van analoog naar digitaal, en nu ook naar AI, toont zijn niet-aflatende toewijding aan het vak, waarbij hij beelden voortdurend tot leven brengt.
Door de jaren heen heeft hij talloze prijzen gewonnen en zijn kennis gedeeld via lezingen, terwijl hij trouw bleef aan zijn kernpassie: het maken van visuele verhalen.
Nadat hij zijn professionele diploma’s had behaald (toen nog wettelijk verplicht!!) richtte Rob in juli 1983 zijn eerste fotostudio op in Huissen, Nederland. Anderhalf decennium later, met een schat aan klantenkring en ervaring, verhuisden hij en zijn team naar een grote ultramoderne fotostudio in Westervoort. Daar bediende hij en zijn team meer dan tien jaar lang met succes zowel nationale als internationale cliënten.
Na een kort fotografisch avontuur in Marseille, Frankrijk, bouwde Rob een nieuwe studio in Arnhem Nederland. In zijn studio vond hij zichzelf opnieuw uit en bood hij zijn creatieve expertise aan aan reclamebureaus, modebedrijven en industrieën. Tien vruchtbare jaren gingen voorbij, en het was gedurende deze tijd dat hij Sigrid leerde kennen. Ze woonde in België en verlangde naar een leven in Italië. Rob, opnieuw klaar om aan een fotografisch en liefdes avontuur te beginnen, bouwde een nieuwe fotostudio in Caprino Veronese. Met 200 vierkante meter en een hoogte van 5 meter in het mooie italië nabij het Gardameer is het een inspirerende, en schitterende werkplek waar hij nog veel mooie beelden gaat maken.

Rob’s journey into the world of photography began at the age of eight and ever since he wanted to become a professional photographer. With four decades of experience under his belt, Rob has created a large number of fascinating images, ranging from fashion, industrial photography, portrait photography and artistic projects. His transition from analog to digital, and now to AI, demonstrates his unwavering dedication to his craft, continually bringing images to life.
Over the years he has won numerous awards and shared his knowledge through lectures, while staying true to his core passion: creating visual stories.
After obtaining his professional diplomas (which were still legally required at the time!!), Rob founded his first photo studio in Huissen, the Netherlands, in July 1983. A decade and a half later, with a wealth of clientele and experience, he and his team moved to a large state-of-the-art photo studio in Westervoort. There he and his team successfully served both national and international clients for more than ten years.
After a short photographic adventure in Marseille, France, Rob built a new studio in Arnhem, Netherlands. In his studio he reinvented himself and offered his creative expertise to advertising agencies, fashion companies and industries. Ten fruitful years passed, and it was during this time that he met Sigrid. She lived in Belgium and longed for a life in Italy. Rob, once again ready to embark on a photographic and love adventure, built a new photo studio in Caprino Veronese. With 200 square meters and a height of 5 meters in beautiful Italy near Lake Garda, it is an inspiring and beautiful workplace where he will create many beautiful images.
